Describe a typical day for you, starting from when you wake up:
Greet Allegra, change her diaper, feed her milk, play and read to her, get ready for work, wait for my helper to arrive at 7:30 AM, get to work at 8 AM. I work full time at a hedge fund. Lunchtime I try to workout at TORQ if I don’t have a client lunch. Follow up on TORQ management work. Go back to hedge fund work and eat at my desk. Leave hedge fund work at 6 PM and go home to feed Allegra by 6:30 PM, put Allegra to sleep at 7 PM. Have dinner with my husband at 7:30 PM and work out TORQ management work. Sleep… sometimes Allegra wakes up in the night so settle her either at 2 AM or feed her milk and go back go back to sleep….
How does keeping fit keep you mighty?
It helps me de-stress and keep my mind clear. Also, it breaks up my busy day at work to help me boost my energy for the afternoon.
What is your secret weapon?
What is your biggest tip for moms wanting to start their fitness journey, or to stay focused on the journey they’re on?
Dedication and try to make time for the journey. Stop making up excuses and just really decide to focus on it and get it done.
How important is keeping your kids active, and what do you do to encourage it?
Very important due to the smaller living conditions in HK. Allegra is an active girl so she likes to go outside. Every day she has 2 activities, either at playgroups, schools, parks or playgrounds.
