Simon has shared with us a little bit about his workout routine, likes and dislikes when it comes to fitness…
What are your top three favorite studios?
This is an impossible question. For yoga, I am currently going through a phase of Inspire Yoga in Al Manara. For strength and conditioning, although it’s usually crazy busy, the strongman equipment they have at Warehouse Gym in Al Quoz makes this a favorite. Additionally, for boxing, I’d have to say Round 10 in JIP.
What is your favorite type of workout?
Strongman workouts. These aren’t generally offered in Dubai, but farmers walks, flipping tyres and lifting atlas stones are a real favorite of mine. Although you wouldn’t think it, given my stick insect physique. Also, ones which make you feel sick.
What do you eat in order to keep up with your workout routine?
Plenty of protein and brown carbs. Also, I live on morning smoothies. My NutriBullet is my most prized possession.
What are your ultimate fitness goals?
To attain a high level of fitness/strength, look good, feel good, all whilst maintaining a busy social life. And to live to be 200.

CrossFit (minus the tops-off, high-fiving vibes)
HIIT or Cycling?
Shorts or leggings?
I like to rock out a combination of them both.
Morning or evening workout?
Morning. Get up. Get it done.
Indoors or outdoors classes?
Summer, indoors. Winter, outdoors
What’s the best experience you’ve ever had at a GuavaPass studio?
Surviving a hot yoga session.
What’s a class that you’re too scared to try and why?
Zumba. I hate dancing.
What’s your go-to, post-workout meal?
A sh*t load of sushi.
Have you ever attended a GuavaPass event? What was your favorite?
The recent Guava Ambassadors event. Although I managed to get injured.
