Though, we did notice you were partial to a few specific workout styles…
Let’s have a look at the Top 5 Workout Styles from Week 2 of the Guava18 Challenge.
Whether it’s jumping on boxes or completing rounds on the TRX, circuit training was an all round favourite from our GuavaFam last week. This type of workout is perfect for fat burning and muscle building with its cardio and resistance components.
Those long lean bodies are looking good ladies! Pilates and barre came in close second as one of the most popular class styles from the last week. With models like Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge and Miranda Kerr swearing by this workout to keep their figures tight and toned, there’s no wonder why it’s so popular!
Getting some perspective are we? The GuavaPass community really does like handing out… especially if it’s upside down and wrapped up in an aerial yoga sling. Don’t be fooled by the graceful poses, this class style will work out muscles you didn’t even know you had! Not to mention increase your circulation, help flush out lactic acid and promote overall flexibility.
Remind us to never tick you guys off! Beasts in the gym and a beast in the ring! Muay Thai, boxing, kickboxing and cardio boxing classes were packed to the rim last week with Guava18 participants. Boxing is an incredible cardio workout and will help you get those long lean biceps you’ve been working so hard for.
And coming in at number 1… turns out the GuavaFam is most comfortable on a spin bike! What a show of how fit you all are! On average, Spin classes burn between 400 and 700 calories! So finishing one of these classes is no small feat.
