Runner’s high is a real thing. It’s when your body achieves a sensational natural euphoria which is achievable after a good sweat session. It’s called runner’s high but it is achievable in any workout which gets your heart rate to that 60-75%!
So how do you know when you’ve reached that sweet spot?
#1 When it gets harder to talk during the workout.
#2 When you get a break, it feels like you’re taking your first breath.
#3 When you hate yourself during the workout, but after…you’re feeling so fly a victory dance feels appropriate.
#4 When your legs feel like jello!
#5 When every drop of water counts so much more.
#6 When the thought about how good you look completely goes out the window.
#7 When you think, “I’m not going to make it to the end of class”, but you have a sudden rush of energy in the middle of your workout and slam the next set.
#8 When the sudden burst of energy has everyone looking at you like “Whaaaaat?!”
#9 When you suddenly feel like you have a 6 pack (at least on your way to one).
