Open Gym classes are available across a range of great locations through GuavaPass. Choosing one of these 90-minute sessions gives you access to the entire gym floor from a great selection of participating gyms. These Open Gym Classes allow you to work at your own pace, with the flexibility of deciding how you workout and the level of intensity. One of these gyms is E’s Fitness – a fantastic space in the centre of Tajong Pagar just down the road from 100AM, and what better month for me to try out their facilities during their 1st year anniversary!
Level 1 – Motivation covering the walls
E’s Fitness sprawls out over 4 floors with 3 levels of dynamic workout areas. The first level – The Equipment Area- has a series of top of the line Hammer Strength machines with most having dual uses along with a few free weights. Covered with quotes from members and founding partners, the chalkboard walls inspire to members to “push harder” and give “one more rep” which I thought was a great motivator during the session.
Level 2 – Chill out
The second level features a safe and exciting space for children to play while their carers can have a fitness break and work up a sweat. It also has a comfortable lounge area.
Level 3 – Run, lift or squat
The third level consists of a well-stocked cardio area, free weights and a squat rack. It also offers suspension and resistance straps along with a range of seating options for upper body workouts.
Level 4 – Circuits and self-defense
On the top floor is where the magic happens. E’s Fitness holds private and group classes in this area including kickboxing, yoga, HIIT, kettlebell training and TRX training to name a few, that puts you to the test and gives your entire body an intense workout.
The gym has an extremely friendly and boutique-feel to it making it welcoming to anyone of any fitness level or experience.
