|What was the drive behind starting MyMaha?
While trying to figure out how to get the most out of living in New York City and performing well at work, I discovered the link between what I put into my body and how I felt. I learned about the different superfoods but soon realized that there were a ton of products out there but none that really met my needs- they were either too obscure, expensive or too time-consuming to use.
MyMaha creates products that serve the needs of this generation – we make high quality products that are “essential” to your kitchen cabinet and can be the foundation of any nutrition plan but understand that being healthy cannot take up too much time, life is too important!
What is MyMaha’s goal/vision?
We want to help create a world where everyone feels like themselves again. Sometimes our lifestyles can get out-of-whack, we want to create easy ways for you to get back into balance starting from what you put in your body. We are changing up the health game by creating health products for the real world.
What has been the most satisfying moment since MyMaha’s inception?
When someone tells me that our products are exactly what they’ve been looking for and have changed their lives:)
Matcha Chia Parfait
This dessert (or breakfast) is not only beautiful but is also great for you and super easy to make! The essential nutrients (2 servings of your daily fruits and veg!) and simple sugars make this a satisfying post-workout meal as well.
Tools You’ll Need: Blender, Tall glass, Spoon
Ingredients for Matcha layer:
Makes 2 servings
1 teaspoon of The Matcha Warrior
One sachet of The Essential Greens
1/3 cup of chia seeds
1 ½ cup of coconut milk
2 ½ tablespoons of honey
Ingredients for Cashew cream layer:
125grams of cashews (soaked for at least 4 hours)
1 cup of pineapples (chopped)
Granola as toppings or any toppings you wish
- Combine all the ingredients for the matcha layer by stirring then refrigerating for about 10 minutes
- Blend ingredients for cashew cream layer and refrigerate
- Fill up one quarter of your glass with the matcha layer and another quarter of the cup with cashew cream, then repeat with matcha and cashew cream again
- Finally garnish with granola (or goji berries, hemp seeds, etc)
