Coming all the way from the land down under, Danielle is a highly experienced trainer who relocated from Hong Kong. She a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, is a competitive amateur boxer and is qualified as a boxing coach. Here are a few more things to know about Danielle…
What are your top 5 tracks of the moment? Or what are the top 5 tracks you love working out to?
I’m the absolute opposite of a music aficionado so I just go with whatever is sounding good at the time! For training I’ll put on anything with a good uplifting beat.
How long have you been doing personal training?
I’ve been on the scene for a little over 3 years but I’ve always had an active interest in all things health and fitness related! Over the years of my own training, I’ve been lucky enough to have some incredible coaches who inspired me with their passion and dedication to helping others, and I wanted to jump in and pass that experience onto other people too.
Name 2-3 of your favourite exercises – either type of workout or specific workout move?
I’m a big fan of squats! There are so many variations to incorporate into your training routine and it’s a great compound movement that works a large range of muscles. I’d say I love burpees too but then no one would come to my classes.
What can participants expect from your class?
The great thing about working out in a group is the community and atmosphere that’s created when everyone gets involved. I try to harness that energy and use it to help everyone push themselves just that little bit more than they thought they could! Everyone comes away from a session like that feeling inspired and ready to tackle anything ahead of them. It’s a great feeling.
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Dedicated, passionate and determined.
Which are your favourite trainers – shoes (brand or specific shoe model)?
I’ve been in Asics Gel-Kayanos for years, because they fit my feet perfectly and provide a load of support. It’s really important to find the shoe that works for you though – everyone’s foot and gait is different so do some trial and error, or see a podiatrist to find what’s right for you!
Welcome to the GuavaPass family Danielle!
